CHRISTINE HAMON-SIRÉJOLS is a professor emeritus of theatre and performance studies at University Sorbonne Nouvelle-Paris 3. She has published the following books: Constructivism in Theatre (Le Constructivisme au théâtre), Arts du spectacle series, CNRS Pubs., Paris, 1992, republished in 2004; The Cherry Orchard (La Cerisaie), Etudes littéraires series, PUF, Paris, 1992; Film and Theatre (Cinéma et théâtralité), ed., Aléas, Lyon, 1994; The Spectacular (Le Spectaculaire), ed., Aléas, Lyon, 1997; Theatre : Sound Space, Visual Space (Théâtre: espace sonore, espace visuel), ed., PUL, Lyon, 2003. She is the author of many articles on Russian theatre (from Meyerhold to Bogomolov) and on contemporary theatre (Patrice Chéreau, Peter Brook, Peter Stein, Robert Wilson, Thomas Ostermeier, Georges Lavaudant, Ivo van Hove, etc.).
